Fine Wine Casks

We simply won't compromise. So we only use fine wine casks made from the unique French Oak - grown in a forest in the central southern part of France.

This oak has a very open, loose grain - which means more of the oak flavours and tannins make their way into our whisky. The fine wines also play their part - full and rich, with a strong tannic structure and accents of cherry, black currants and cedar.

To the eye

These French Oak casks aren't charred or toasted - the colour is red sky at night and autumnal.

To the tongue

All those open grains let the flavour pass across beautifully, adding spiciness and rich cherries.
